The challenge
Club with a low ceiling (4.2 m) — lighting must not dazzle either the audience or the cameras. 8 4K cameras into a switcher with redundant streaming (TV studio + public YouTube) — no dropouts permitted. Live graphics embedded with timing accurate to within ±1 frame.
Technical solution
24× Pointe units on a low-hung truss (3.8 m) — no glare for the audience or cameras (tested with a lux meter). 8 4K cameras into ATEM with redundant streaming — 120 minutes live, zero drops on either stream. Graphics embedded with timing accurate to ±0 frames (genlock sync).
